Outreach

The department of physics offers public events such as the lecture series “Physics on Saturday morning,” which is suited for pre-university students, and the physics Christmas lecture.

The department participates in the “Long Night of Sciences” (21. Oct. 2017) with extended talks and exhibitions.

There is a research camp for scholars 4 times a year within the Erlangen Scholar Research Center (ESFZ).
The Physics didactics offers access to the Quantum Lab and to the Network Particle world.

We are present at local study information events (FAU-Infotage, Vocatium, Studienbasar im Melanchthongymnasium, etc.).

Sponsorship for secondary schools

The department offers a sponsorship to schools in the vicinity.
Physics teachers have a personal partner at the department to arrange visits and other acitvities. More…
