The Christmas Lecture 2024 is now available as a video recording on fau.tv.

Nothing works as it should in the Physics Department, because … Physics has disappeared. How could this happen? Who is responsible for the disappearance?

Dr. Max Gmelch from the SAOT Graduate School takes the visitors on a journey far beyond the Department of Physics. On the search for clues throughout the university, we meet numerous researchers for whom physics has not disappeared, at least not yet. But the thief is still at work at the university …

The Christmas Lecture took place on December 3, 2024 at 7pm in lecture hall G, Staudtstr. 5, 91058 Erlangen and was broadcast to lecture halls H and E as well as online (livestream on the FAU video portal).

The Christmas lecture can now also be watched online at fau.tv (in German):

The Christmas Lecture is part of the Collegium Alexandrinum lecture series.
