Study Service Center (SSC) of the Physics Department is launched
Since October, the Department of Physics has a new Study Service Centre (SSC Physics) that is available as the first point of contact for questions and concerns related to studying physics. The office will soon be set up in a central location in the physics building so that you can simply drop by in person. Currently, however, we can only be reached by email.
If you have any questions about your studies or are interested in individual advice, please send an email to the SSC Physics (physik-ssc@fau.de). Please note that we may forward emails to the appropriate offices, such as the dean of studies, examination board, examination office, department office, student advisory service, etc. If you do not wish your email to be forwarded, please note this in your email.
The SSC Physics has already compiled information about studying for students, prospective students and schools on a new homepage (www.physik.nat.fau.de/ssc). For enrolled students and doctoral candidates, there is also a StudOn page that you can join (www.studon.fau.de/crs5988248.html). There you can also book appointments for consultations (individual and group appointments).
For our newly enrolled students in the MSc Physics, the SSC Physics is organising a welcome event which will take place on Oct. 18, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. in lecture hall G. A separate invitation has already been sent out.
The SSC Physics team is looking forward to the new tasks and to working with the students!
